Hi Joy and erabella! So glad gd school is going well. You are such an inspiration! There are times I wish there was such a complete program to attend for service dog teams in general. I am a service dog team with my dog, Piper. She does mobility and PTSD. Where your, relationship is quickly learned, ours was months and months of training with a trainer , only meeting once every other week. The times in between sessions are long and sometimes scary not having a trainer with you everyday to help with trouble-shooting. And all the tasks Piper learned had to be done by me, mainly on my own time. I think it would be fantastic to have an almost fully trained service dog to be able to step into the roll they need to step into, then have the new owner come in for the two weeks and learn what the dog has been trained. I know they have the wounded warrior/ veterans Dog programs. But there is such a need for people like myself to also have these dogs almost fully trained. At times I almost gave up, my stability issues and pain was almost more than I could bere, but I kept going, I love my sweet Piper and knew with lots of time and patience she could do it! And she has! She just turned two February 16th of this year. We/ she will “graduate “, just a week after you and erabella. March 3rd we take our public access test ? Thank you Joy, with out even knowing it you encouraged me to keep training, to have a happy attitude, and to be sweet and understanding of Piper as she learned! God bless!?????

Hey! I don't know if this was a mistake or not, but I was wondering if you could put captions.
Is this a guide dog school just for the blind? Or are the dogs training to be service dogs for a variety of people who need them?
Thanks for the update Joy! I'm glad Arabella's training is going well
Hi Joy, thanks for the update, and yes, you two look great together! Glad things are going well.
